As the Social security and low cost benefits for the Indian have been in the Narendra Modi's agenda.Narendra Modi  Since coming to power begun working towards making life of the people of India much easy.Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) with his minister have worked day-night to start new schemes for the common people of India.The First step took after coming to power was to launch of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.

Later Government of India launched three new scheme for welfare of the people of India on May 9 , 2015.The name PM Modi has launched in his begening days are Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana , Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.

About Atal Pension Yojana (PMAPY)

Atal Pension Yojana (ApY) is a scheme of Narendra Modi Government launched by Finance MInister Arun Jaitley.Atal Pension Yojana is named after the Ex- Prime Minister of India. The main aim of ApY scheme is to provide a definite pension to the every people of India.

The Atal Pension Yojana is a national pension scheme which came into effect from June 1 , 2015.The main goal of the APY scheme was to bring pension benifits to the people  of India who works in unorganised sector.So that they too can take a benefit of pension scheme after their retirement.

This scheme will provide social security to the people who are employed in unorganised sector where there is no scheme like pension scheme. These people can take benefits of scheme with minimum contribution per month.They even choose pension programme which fits for them.

Who is Eligible for PMAPY Scheme?

Narendra Modi's Government launched Pradhan Mantri Atal Pension Yojana (PMAPY) scheme for the welfare purpose so this scheme is available for every Indian who lives in India.Any Indian whose age is between the age group 18 to 40 year is eligible for the PMAPY scheme.This scheme allow people to contribute small or minimum amount of money for at least 20 year for PMAPY scheme 's programme which they choosed.All the member of the Swavalamban Yojana will be automatically tranfer to the Atal Pension Yojana.

Note : This scheme is not for those people who are a member of statutory social security scheme.

How to get Enrolled for PMAPY Scheme ?

Any Indian can enroll for PMAPY Scheme.Government started accepting application form for the APY scheme from June 1st 2015.So there is no last date to apply for the APY scheme.To have this PMAPY Scheme an individual must have a Bank Account and Aadhar Card.Applicant who have bank account can fill Application form and submit it to the nearest Bank.The applicant must fill all the required details including account number, spouse and nominee details in the application form of APY scheme.

Premium payable for PMAPY Scheme

Once you applied for the PMAPY scheme you have to pay the premium every month.There is only one way to pay premium for the scheme.That is auto-debited.It means you only have to apply for scheme rest of work will be done automatically.The premium for PMAPY scheme will be auto-debited directly from your bank account which you provided while applying for scheme.

Application form for PMAPY scheme 

  1. You can download PMAPY application form from the official website of PMAPY .
  2. You can also get PMAPY application form from the nearest Bank.
  3. Once you got PMAPY application form than start filling up this form.
  4. You need to provide your mobile number , Bank account number and Aadhar card number with the form.
  5. After filling PMAPY application form submit it to nearest bank branch.
